Modular design
The LPG service station is made up of a combination of multiple elements.
LPG storage tank: This is the LPG storage unit of a LPG skid station. It can be manufactured in various capacities and sizes. LPG storage tanks can have vertical or horizontal layouts. Although most tanks are used for above-ground installations, underground applications can also be used. The common configurations of LPG storage tanks are as follows:
- 3m3 (about 1.5m) horizontal or above ground
- 5m3 (about 2.5m) horizontal or above ground
- 10m3 (about 5m) horizontal
- 20m3 (about 10m) horizontal
LPG filling pump: Europump offers two types of filling pumps for the service station;
- Regenerative turbine pump
- Side channel LPG pump.
LPG filling module: This module is the most critical unit for skid application, in fact different options are available:
LPG dispenser with PD meter
- Specially designed for autogas applications with volumetric measurement in liters or gallons.
- Option to fill preset values such as money or liters.
- Automatic temperature compensation.
- Available to communicate with most common yard automation systems.
LPG dispenser with mass flow meters
- Advanced LPG dispensers equipped with Endress Hauser Coriolis mass flow meters.
- These dispensers can be used for autogas and cylinder filling. They have an option for volume measurement in liters/gallons and also for mass measurement in kg/lb.
- Ability to enter preset values such as money, volume, or mass.
- Automatic temperature compensation.
- Available for communication with the most common yard automation systems.
LPG filling scale with electronic register
- Designed exclusively for filling cylinders of predetermined dimensions.
- Option to fill preset values as mass.
- Available to communicate with custom automation systems.
LPG filling scale with mechanical indicator
These scales are designed to fill only cylinders of predetermined dimensions.
LPG Control Panel: The Europump station control panel is specifically designed to meet the monitoring and safety needs of the station.

- Alarms for low and high liquid levels in the tank.
