Measurement for fixed and mobile LPG applications
Europump provides a variety of metering solutions for stationary and mobile LPG applications (such as LPG tankers and trucks), ensuring there's a suitable LPG flow meter for tankers/trucks, bulk plants, and LPG dispensers. Positive-displacement and Coriolis mass flow meters are available. All meters are designed according to OIML requirements, as well as local requirements such as ATEX, GOST, or NTEP. This ensures safe and accurate measurement, even for custody transfer applications.

EPD500 LPG mass flow meter
EPD500 is the most advanced and affordable LPG flow meter system. Applications: LPG meter for trucks/tankers and LPG exhaust system.

LC MA series LPG meter
Liquid Controls' MA7 Series positive displacement (PD) rotary flow meters offer the highest measurement accuracy for transfer.

Europump MT100 pump

Liqua-tech LPM-200
The Liqua-Tech LPM-200 is a 2-inch positive displacement flow meter designed for applications such as bobtail tankers and storage facilities.
Main features
It offers a flow rate range of 20 to 100 gallons per minute (75 to 380 liters per minute) and operates at a maximum operating pressure of 24 bar (350 psi). The meter features a durable ductile iron housing and includes components such as a vapor eliminator, filter, and differential valve. It is compatible with Veeder-Root registers with or without printing and can be configured with an automatic temperature compensator.

LPG calibration equipment
It is essential that the measurement system is calibrated and functioning properly. Therefore, these devices must be calibrated at least once or twice a year. To perform proper LPG calibration, you need reliable testing systems. Europump is the most experienced company in the LPG market. Their LPG calibration equipment has been widely used by private and government agencies for years.
Thermodensitometer for LPG
The Europump GPL thermodensitometer is a special instrument equipped with a hydrometer (available in German and Italian versions) that allows you to determine the density of the LPG product at a given reference temperature. This is achieved by simply and safely sampling the product from a transparent test cylinder, tested and certified for operating pressures up to 18 bar. The hydrometer, placed inside the transparent container, also floats when a small amount of the product to be tested is added, allowing you to determine the product's density and temperature. Comparing the measurement with an ASTM-IP table allows you to identify the density of the LPG.

Which LPG meter should I choose?
Massive or Positive Displacement (PD)?
Coriolis mass flow meters can measure mass, volume, density, and temperature with high accuracy, while positive displacement meters can only measure volume. Furthermore, PD meters require more maintenance due to their internal mechanical components and are susceptible to corrosion. Although the specifications of mass flow meters are higher than those of PD meters, the latter are a cost-effective way to measure flow. For a long-term investment with lower maintenance costs and greater accuracy, mass flow meters are better. These do not require continuous calibration and, given their stainless steel internal components, do not suffer from the wear problems of their mechanical counterparts.
